China, dag 12

Dag 12. Bus to Shanghai, starting with small houses and finishing with skyscrapers and trafficjams. Trip on the river with a lot of boats, harbours, the colonial "Bund" on the left and the steel&glass towers on the right. After a walk on the bund we went shopping (again) and to a Buddhist monastry. After dinner we visited the 88th. floor of the Jin Mao tower (440 m high) with a fantastic view over the Shanghai lights. And as finishing touch the neonlights of Naking road, where the thermometer still showed 35 degrees at 11.00. What a day.
