Poolster

A canal in Brielle, last week. It's difficult to find anything else than cute Dutch scenes in Brielle.
It's funny how we Dutch take a lot of these "tourist" scenes for granted, we never see it anymore because we are living in it. I sketched an old towboat called "poolster" and the windmill "het vliegend hert" on the fortifications of Brielle.
De molen "het vliegend hert" en een oude sleepboot "de poolster" in een kanaal in Brielle.

Indeed, a typical Dutch scene, and I agree with you , we often "forget" to see nice things even in our own city or landscape near of our house....
Very recognizable sketch .....very "Dutchy "

Bedankt! Ja ik hou het daar zonder problemen uit. Als het tenminste niet zo regent als vandaag.
