Village life India

Cycling from Khajuraho we visited a village in the vicinity. Here some local scenes. It was "snakeday", all over the village people were occupied to smear the porch and treshhold of their houses with bullshit (no joke). They said snakes and rats hate to cross that! They also painted the symbol with the four snakes (topleft) on the wall, to ask protection from the gods.
