Sawa

It was about the last of our days in Indonesia, and I got a little tired of the style of drawing I had been doing so far in my travelbook. So I tried something else, something wet-in-wet, inspired by a scene I saw somewhere on the road in Bali.

This is beautiful...the wet in wet works.

Thanks Balaji, it's always a surprise how it works out.

A fantastic sketch! If you frame it you could hang it on the wall!

Hi Nico, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but it's rather small, 13x20cm. But I liked doing this, I should try do it more often (and so should you, do you know the site of artist Herry Arifin?)

Beautiful Rene, the wet-in-wet approach enhances the special mood of this sketch.

Thanks Rodney, Bedankt Liz. Inderdaad, wat je zegt, handelsmerk.

Ik hou van deze "wet-in-wet". Het is anders dan uw gebruikelijke stijl. Maar het is als een mooi droom.

Merci, Florence. Het was ook erg inspirerend om te doen.
