Amstenrade

The castle of Amstenrade, just around the corner of my house.
This is the view from the village, as seen from the Hommerterallee, with the small unused guardhouse in front.
The caste is still private property; the count and/or countess d'Ansembourg live there.

I like this one a lot, and I am glad to see that the "Add a comment" link is working again.

Thanks Balaji for your persistence. I am considering going back to the original format. I like this dynamic layout, but I experienced hickups as well.

I amconsidering to go back to the old layout. Too busy now. Thanks for visiting and good luck with your glasses. And success with the exhibition, unfortunately Bussum is a bit away from Amstenrade.

Alweer een bijzonder mooie schets van regionaal landschap en erfgoed!

Is toch erg leuk locale dingen schilderen.
