Ford B 1933

I love to draw hot rods. This beauty stood at the "cruise-in" in Brunssum, last thursday.
It's a Ford B from 1933, the most popular model to turn into hotrods. They were used so much for conversion into hot-rods that I was told that a "normal" restored Ford B 2-seater is extremely rare.

Hi Rene. I'm not a big antique car fan, but your series of sketches is good. The perspectives are all different as well as the colours. The one I like the best is the flaming 1933 Ford.
I think that its great to do a series of sketches on a particular subject. It gives the 'reader' a chance to appreciate the interests of the artist and to see how the subjects are interpreted.

Thanks Michael. It's not only good for the reader, but also for the artist. You still remember the problems in the earlier drawing when making the second/third. When in China (Suzhou), I saw a calligraphy guy who drew the same fish repeatedly for a few hours, just to arrive at the one he was content with.
