I want to go outside and sketch, but no chance because of the bad weather. All it ever does is rain.
I took an old picture of an abandoned car I found some years ago, somewhere in France, and made this drawing.
I wish that I could send you some sunshine, Rene. Although I loved many things about Germany, I was often frustrated by the wetness. I suppose it did force me to try my hand at different things, though, and you seem to do that too, whether it's working from a photo, like this great piece, or using different mediums of expression. I wish you some sunny days ahead.
I hope the sun is already shining there. I like the sketch very much, the feeling of abandonment is so strong here. And I like how trees divide the picture.
