MIG 21 in Maasbracht

I made a drawing of this old MIG 21 today. It's standing in the business park of a village called Maasbracht, some 30km away from where I live, at a car junk yard. No idea how it got there.
It was hidden from view by a line of trees. I had noticed it a few times last winter, when the trees were bare, but only today I found the time to draw it.

Nice guy. At last one famous Russian, which is out of doping scandal.

An incredible find. I can't imagine how something like that found its way into a junkyard. I would expect it to be in a museum. The colours and darkness of your sketch seem to put emphasis on its dilapidated state.

Thanks Irina, there is a lot to be said about (Russian) doping, and but there is so much more I like about Russia and Russians.

Thanks Michael, yes, I am puzzled as well, I wanted to go inside and ask the owner, but they closed the place before I could finish it.
Even though it was old, (it was produced until 1985, and there are still countries who use this type as fighter jet), it did not look too bad, my painting looks so dilapidated because of my representation of the flecked camouflage painting.

Thank you so much Rene, I wish I had same generosity towards us.
