The last of my Paris sketches. Our hotel (an excellent one by the way) was located in the outskirts of Paris, in the banlieu. This is the view from our hotel room window on the first floor.
Its always difficult to choose a hotel in a large city - do you go for a downtown location or something outside the core that has a little local colour. You seem to have done well with your choice. A room with a view is always a good idea for an artist!
Thanks Michael. In this case it was determined by a decent parking garage. And a decent hotel after some bad experiences with another hotel two years ago. With an wedding anniversary you don't take risks.
